Meal for All
At Karuas International Foundation, we believe that no one should go to bed hungry, especially in a world full of abundance. We are launching our "Meal for All" campaign, a year-long initiative to provide nutritious, wholesome meals to individuals and families in need across India, with a special focus on the marginalized communities in Jharkhand.
In many parts of India, especially in rural and economically disadvantaged regions like Jharkhand, hunger remains a stark reality. With limited access to essential food resources and the harsh realities of poverty, countless families go without a proper meal every day. The COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges have only exacerbated the situation, leaving people in dire need of immediate and consistent support.
The Vision
Our vision is simple: "No one should be hungry, every day." Through the Meal for All campaign, we aim to create a sustainable network of community kitchens where food is prepared and distributed to those who need it the most. Our goal is not only to serve meals but to build long-term solutions to hunger, empowering local communities to come together and support each other.
The Impact of Your Donation
Your generous donations will directly fund the creation of community kitchens in Jharkhand and other underserved regions. These kitchens will provide daily meals to:
- Daily wage earners and migrant workers who struggle to make ends meet.
- Families living in poverty who cannot afford regular meals.
- Children and elderly individuals who are most vulnerable to malnutrition.
Each meal provided will be made with care, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring that the communities not only receive food but also benefit from nourishment that supports their health and well-being.
How the Campaign Works?
1. Meal Sponsorships
Encourage donors to sponsor meals:
- ₹50 provides one nutritious meal for a person.
- ₹1,500 feeds a family of four for a month.
- ₹5,000 supports a community kitchen for a week.
2. Meal Kits Distribution
Assemble and distribute meal kits containing rice, lentils, cooking oil, and spices to families.
3. Community Kitchens
Set up temporary kitchens in high-need areas to serve freshly cooked meals.
How Your Donation Will Help
- Setting up Community Kitchens: Donations will be used to build community kitchens, fund the purchase of kitchen equipment, ingredients, and support staff.
- Ongoing Meal Distribution: With your help, we will ensure that these kitchens are stocked and operational every day of the year. This consistent effort will provide much-needed food security for vulnerable communities.
- Training and Empowering Locals: We will train local volunteers and community leaders to help manage these kitchens, creating a ripple effect of positive impact in the region.
